Effective financial controls protect cash, strengthen accountability and give management confidence in the integrity of their financial information.
Implementing exactly this kind of control framework is how our principal uncovered a fraud in excess of $1 million.

We tailor the engagement around what your business already has in place, rather than asking you to fit a fixed package.
We take on the transactional work — reconciliations, coding, invoicing, payroll and BAS — so the books stay accurate and current.
We work alongside your finance staff, adding capacity or senior oversight where your team is stretched.
Everything from transactions through to CFO-level reporting, run by us as your finance department.

Good financial reporting helps you understand how your business is performing, where your money is going and where attention is required.
Know what's driving performance, where attention is required and what comes next.

That range matters. Progress claims, grant acquittals, NDIS reporting, award interpretation and job costing all break bookkeeping in different ways — and we have worked through each of them before.

Tell us about your business and we'll show you how we would approach the reporting, compliance and financial processes that come with it.
We help businesses improve the way their finance systems operate — streamlining processes, reducing manual administration, strengthening financial controls and introducing automation wherever possible.
Whether you’re using Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or other accounting and business platforms, we can review your current setup, identify inefficiencies and help build practical workflows that support your business as it grows.
From day-to-day bookkeeping processes through to approvals, reporting and system integrations, our focus is simple: less manual work, better information and greater financial control.

If your question isn't covered here, send it through and we will answer it directly.
Ask a questionYes. Historical bookkeeping and account clean-ups are part of our bookkeeping service, so we can bring records up to date before taking on the ongoing work.
Yes. Liaison with accountants and tax advisers is part of our BAS and compliance service, and we can work as an extension of your existing arrangements.
Yes. Many clients use us for additional support alongside an existing finance team, whether that is extra capacity or senior oversight.
Our fees are based on the volume and complexity of the work — transaction numbers, payroll size, the number of entities and the state of the existing records. Ongoing work is provided for an agreed monthly fee, with any clean-up or setup quoted separately after an initial review.
It varies more than most comparison articles admit, because the work does. Transaction volume, payroll size, the number of entities and how far behind the records are all move the number. Australian providers generally charge either an hourly rate or an agreed monthly fee for a defined scope. We quote a monthly fee after reviewing your records, so what you pay reflects the actual work rather than an average.
Most businesses need both, working from the same ledger. A bookkeeper maintains the records — coding, reconciliations, payroll and the preparation behind your activity statements. An accountant interprets the result and handles statutory reporting and tax. We cover the bookkeeping and the management reporting above it, with Chartered Accountant oversight; lodgement and tax advice stay with your registered tax agent.
We work in Xero and in whatever you already use. Your data stays in your own subscription with your own access, not ours, so nothing is locked to us and you can take the function back or move it elsewhere without a migration. Where a system genuinely is not fit for the volume you are at, we will say so rather than work around it quietly.
We start with a review of your current records, systems and deadlines, then agree a handover plan and a close calendar before taking anything on. How long that takes depends on the state of the records — we give you a timeframe once we have seen them.
